So long story
I bought some twin cans' for the 06
Turned out they were off a full system and slip on's
Whilst the 06 is of course a bolt on design
And so - I'm after something to adapt the slip on's to bolt ons
Found a guy who'll give it a go in knocking something up
And so he's after some info
Could any help in getting these number Huh? Smiley And i'll be sure to put it plenty of photo's up after their are fitted

And do we know if the flange is flat.....flange ha ha

If I take the std can's off to take photo's. Is it simply unscrewing the nuts etc and removing the can??

To quote
"Ill need the A , B and C dimensions off your standard cans

If you could also tell me what size the bolts are and if there is a sticky out bit , what diameter and how far it sticks out.
Can you see where the cans bolt on when they are on the bike ?"

One of the can's in question

Might be able to help you out here. Wont know for sure til i get to work tomorrow but i might just have the section you need to be able to fit the slip ons as they are. I bought micron serpent headers, (full system minus the cans) but didnt use all of it.

I found the piece but i now remember cutting the ends off to make the link pipe. Dont know if this is any use to you. you're welcome to it if you think it might help.

No in short Wink
Thanks for the offer any how bud - Especially as i'm still a newbie to the site.
If I fitted that, I'd then need some link pipes made up
Thus 'i think' it'd be 'easier' to have a simple slip on to bolt on adaptor made up?? (though have been wrong....many times...before )

I just need the measurements - I'll have a bash taking off the std cans this weekend.  Should be easier enough.... Smiley

thanks again anyhow Smiley

No to be honest. Those would work a treat - I've forwarded the link to my 'make something up guy' Smiley

And hollywood (please tell me you named yourself after 'Hollywood' from Top Gun Wink )
I can not see the picture Sad

edited - I can see it now Smiley

Ok - I'll forward it to 'my guy' and see what the scores on the doors are Smiley
Daft question (there's a running theme with me....)
It is the exhaust we are looking at here??

Thanks guys

Turns out those were pretty much spot on bud!
I used a digital calliper measurey thingy - and my measurements matched spot on

One thing.....funny the things you find
Found between the riders seat, pillion seat, in the bodywork! - wonder if the previous owner wants it back

Of note - how much of a pain is it to remove the exhausts!

Also - Can anyone measure an aftermarket exhaust hanger - from where it leaves the exhaust, to the centre hole of the top bolt (at the bike)

Ok - Got the bolt on bits made up Smiley
As below

My man is just going to get em fitted to the exhausts and send em back
Then hoping the measurements were right as I fit everything to the bike.....
Just need to worry about getting some exhaust hangers and i'll be right
