Was just wondering. Haven't dyno'd it yet and wondered what the general concensus was. It's a bog standard 04 with 4.5k on the clock. I've been led to believe about 155-160hp is about right for a stocker. Is this right?

A stock bike is probably about 150/155 hp at the back wheel.

Kawasaki claim 175ps (about 172hp) but that's at the crank

AndyJ's 1st Gen did about 169 on the Dyno at Demon Tweeks last year...he just had Akky can and Race Filter I think.

On the day, was more than my 07 with remap, race filter, decat, a/TRE, akky cans, no baffles.  So they are very impressive.

Mine did just under 164 when dyno'd a couple of summers back, Akra race can only. The dyno guy said they mostly did around 158-160 in his experience. I've just fitted a PCIII, and K&N as part of my winter service and mod efforts. I plan to get it properly set up at Race Developments in Gloucester once it's all done and back on the road. Will let you know what I get from that when I've been Smiley

My 09 done 164 at HM Racing with just an Akro slipon, it has got just under 700 miles on it so I reckon it is still tight, also the guy at HM said it was slightly lean so I have now put a PC5 on and I am gonna block off the fresh air and get it custom mapped soon

we`ve dyno`d stock bikes at 170bhp at the wheel but others have only been 158bhp, we have just dyno`d a totally stock d6f and it made 174bhp , first gens do normally make a little less
